A & E is provided by the Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham which has the resources of a major regional centre but is prone to long waiting times, and Grantham Hospital which is perhaps not so well equipped, but usually attends to casualties quickly (good at stitching up children) - often worth the longer journey.
