Margaret Rushton will be speaking about the “Canary Girls of Chilwell”.  The cost is £4 and includes a glass of wine.  The event starts at 7.30pm in the village hall.

After a very short Morning Prayer at 11am, the Easter Vestry and Annual Parochial Church meeting will take place.  This is the annual meeting where the officers of the church and the Parochial Church Council are elected and decisions made for the year ahead.  All welcome and tea, coffee and cakes will be served.

Bring a dog, bring your friends!  12noon start at St Luke, Upper Broughton.  Soup and bread at St Luke, Hickling and finishing at St Luke, Kinoulton with Hot Cross buns and tea.  A great day out to walk down the vale and enjoy the view!
