Christmas Bazaar 6th Dec

A craft fare and market will be held in the village hall from 10am on 6th December.

The stalls will be selling a range of goods including beauty products, jewellery, gifts, cards, pottery, cakes, preserves, chocolate, cushions, silk products.  There will also be a tombola, a bric-brac stall and a christmas tree and wreath sale.  But the highlight will probably be a special appearance from Father Christmas!

Tea, coffees and mince pies will be available to purchase.

The next meeting is on Thursday November 13th at 7.30pm in the village hall. 

Mr Bob Payne is returning to talk about “Railways in the Vale”.  He is an entertaining speaker, so why not go along to the village hall, enjoy a glass of wine, escape from this cold weather and listen to Bob?

The cost is just £4 and includes a glass of wine.

Christmas tree

A real Christmas tree will be put up in the Church for the whole of the forthcoming Christmas season.

Any decorations that you would like to donate to decorate the tree would be gratefully received by the Church.

Nativity play

WANTED

Shepherds, Angels, Kings…….

How would you like to be in the Upper Broughton Nativity Play?

If you are aged between two and twelve you could play a part in the play.  Rehearsals are on Sunday December 14th in the Church, from 10.45am to 12 noon.

The play will be performed on Sunday December 21st  at 11am in the Church and after a final rehearsal at 9.30am that morning.

Go along and join in the fun and the action!
