Rushcliffe Borough Council is in the process of reviewing all of the borough’s conservation areas. Each review comprises an appraisal of the area’s character and townscape qualities which will act as a guide to conservation area policy and decision making in the future. The appraisal takes the form of a plan and a written document which includes the generic management plan and it is with this that they seek input from the local community.
The review of Upper Broughton has been completed and a map (click on image above) and a draft Conservation Area Appraisal have now been issued by Rushcliffe Borough Council. They would now like to receive your comments to feed into their analysis, and this can be done by completing the Rushcliffe Feedback Form. Hard copies of these documents are also available from the Chairman of the Parish Council, Janine Hopper at The Walls, Top Green Tel: 822881. All forms should be completed and returned to Janine by 30th November 2008.
This information has also been posted on the village notice board.
